Synopsis

A vintage necklace. A long-hidden secret. A second chance for love.
A dual-timeline story of love and second chances at any age from a USA Today bestselling author. Escape to the film set of Roman Holiday and the sunny shores of Lake Como, Italy, in an intriguing family saga.

A long-hidden secret threatens Ruby Raines, a Texas-born Hollywood legend who began her career with Roman Holiday. When her sister dies and her great-niece, costume designer Ariana Ricci, leaves her groom at the altar, Ruby must reconcile her family before it’s too late. While opening yellowed, 1950s letters postmarked Italy, Ariana discovers relics from Ruby’s unknown past, including an intriguing vintage necklace that Audrey Hepburn gave her during the filming of the movie. Aching for a fresh start and the chance to resolve an unfinished story, the two embark on a journey to the sun-dappled shores of Lake Como, Italy, that will illuminate secrets of a bygone era and offer second chances to each of them—if they are bold enough to seize them.

“Epic tale of love and unforgettable characters. A storyteller to remember.” — Kristy Woodson Harvey, USA Today Bestselling Author

Hepburn's Necklace is a must-read! Beware! You can't put the book down, once you started reading it! Very good read! This book had taken me to the place/s I've never been to! You'll admire and understand how Ruby Raines and the other characters made the toughest decision of their life while balancing family and career/profession. It's a perfect reflection of a strong and independent woman--provides a superb inspiration to all the women out there.

The balance between conflicts, family issues, family relationships specifically mother to daughter and aunt to niece was perfectly described. It showed that love can also be felt and seen towards the people around you; like your family, dear friends-- not only between a man and a woman kind of cliche'. The cliffhanger is just unexpected. Thought that the story would just end in some sort of predictable timeline but Jan would make you realize it isn't!

Moreover, the second chances relayed from this book are not only for love but could be realized in someone's career or profession, family relationships, and a lot more! Jan Moran is really an awesome writer! One should try all of her historical books--The Perfumer, The Winemaker, as well as The Chocolatier! Plus, the Seabreeze Inn Series and Coral Cottage Series! Lucky to find this awesome author!
