Must read 🏆

“Daring to Think Again” Is so enlightening and inspiring that it should be in your library if you are looking to know Jesus

Synopsis

When was the last time you really thought about your faith? The last time you chewed on what you believe, why you believe it, and what keeps you believing?

Western Christianity shies away from this sort of questioning, fearing it as a mark of faithlessness. But Dave Brisbin believes this is exactly what Jesus is challenging us to engage--a journey of shedding what is unnecessary for the sake of embracing a fuller, deeper, and healthier faith.

Brisbin challenges us to rethink the often toothless spiritual traditions we have accepted, to discover a Jesus who offers an approach to thought and growth that stands opposed to our common formulas. Rather than trying to cement traditional beliefs, Jesus suggests that spiritual truths are held only when we have released our grasp on the way we have been trained to see our world, our faith, and God.

This powerfully fresh and deconstructive look at twelve foundational aspects of Christian tradition dares us to relinquish what hinders for the sake of gaining back what is vital. We must “sell the filter” through which we read the scriptures in order to fully see them--abandon our traditional frames of thought concerning Jesus to truly know Him.

Pastor Dave Brisbin creates such a clear path through this thing we sometimes refer to as “Religion” in the very manner of a sheet settling down as it naturally takes the shape of that which it settles upon.

As the author, Dave Brisbin takes us on this fascinating journey we soon realize what is ment by the phrase “The Truth needs no witnesses, It testifies to Itself” we find ourselves drawn in by The Truth that is so masterfully crafted made visible as we journey with Pastor Dave through this “Inspired writing “Daring to ThinkAgain”
