When She Tempts begins where the first one ended. Martina is Damiano’s little sister and right now what she needs the most is high-level protection. After an abduction and a life-threatening situation, Damiano simply doesn’t want to take any chances. He sends her away with his trusted man, Giorgio, to a place that is unknown even to him. Far away from the cacophony and surrounded by the beautiful Italian countryside, not to mention the beautiful Giorgio himself, Mari finds herself falling for all of those things. Giorgio knows she is under his protection and he does everything to do exactly that but can’t help his feelings for her. But he must maintain control. After all, Mari is the sister of the don-to-be. Moreover, what about the consequences of this attraction when Damiano becomes aware?

Phew! This was a beautiful love story. The surroundings of the Italian countryside and the delicious dishes mentioned in the story along with the crackling chemistry between the two rounded everything up and made for a heartwarming read. Again, the author just sweeps the reader away with her words and one simply cannot put the book down. Kudos!

The Fallen series is proving to be an addictive one. I have finished the next book in the series too!
