Must read 🏆

Erin FitzGerald's 'Unexpected' reads like a batch of your grandma's homemade chicken dumplings tastes ... exceptional.

Horacio Jones said, “Instead of saying, ‘I’m damaged, I'm broken, I have trust issues’ say ‘I'm healing, I'm rediscovering myself, I'm starting over.’”

Many times in our lives we go through troubles – be it in relationships, with our finances, our health or even in creating our own identities. We all have pasts, and things from our pasts sometimes hinder us from moving forward.

And a lot of times, like I think Horacio meant, it takes changing our perspective on such things for us to see there is hope.

Which is what happened with Jack and Daphne in Erin FitzGerald’s newest publication, ‘Unexpected.’

To be launched March 11, ‘Unexpected’ is beyond the normal expected ‘contemporary romance’ book – it is a book about family, relationships, change, and romance – but not the cheesy kind that you read in most fiction books ... it is the real deal kind of romance.

FitzGerald’s writing is prolific and entertaining. Her character development is smooth, and the transitions between each page are clear ... though there were some truly pleasant surprises.

Imagine your grandma cooking up a bowl of chicken and dumplings – you know the old-fashioned kind where she ‘put her foot in it’ – for non-Southerners – that just means she put more than just the typicalstuff in it .... she put her heart and soul in that cooking.

Well, after closing up ‘Unexpected,’ you’ll see that is exactly what FitzGerald did in her writing ... she ‘put both her feet’ in the proverbial pot of words, and came out with an exceptional read.
