Must read 🏆

Kids’ bullying, so sad.

I understood the frustration and concern Thomas’ parents felt seeing another mark from a bully on their son.

The writer, Dr. Nilesh Panchal, introduces the parents of a teen that is being bullied and they wonder how long the bullying will last in Thomas Atkins and the Unlikely Heroes. Thomas, who suffers from social anxiety, disassociates and daydreams when faced with a tense situation.

I really enjoyed reading how Thomas received trust and support from his coach, teammates, and unexpected sources.

There are some English translation glitches but overall, the writer conveys a message of hope.

Dr. Nilesh Panchal gave some good points to kids who have a friend that suffers from social anxiety and who is being bullied.

I think this is a great book for teens and pre-teens.

This book is about a victim of bullying, so violence is described.
