Not for me 😔

Read only if you haven't tried with other Mythologies. Because now that I have read better I can't seem to like it as much.

After an abrupt ending of The Immortals of Meluha continues the Part 2 of the Shiva Trilogy-The Secret of The Nagas. No need to sugercoat it and all I just didn't feel it. Just didn't work for me. Throughout the book all that was happening was travelling. Kashi, Magadh, Maika I've lost count. And the unnecessary gibberish of the beauty of the place, garden or even a simple river. Other things I didn't like was the language which at times was just too modern didn't go with the vibe of the book. I don't think if I could continue the last part. I've read better. I only get through because of all the philosophical teachings which were undeniably interesting. If only the travelling part be cut short things would be better.

Let me save you from the trouble of the huge secret which all the title is based on does not deserve the worth hype. Turns out I did guess what it was going to be about. Now that I think about it clearly I liked the first part only because it was the first of its kind. But now I've read others and my expectations have increased. This might be the other why I didn't like this as much.

I have always loved to read. Novels help me to enter into the world of imagination and I stay for all those emotions I get to feel during the journey of a book.
