Must read 🏆

One of the best historical or mythological fiction story you'll ever read. And i am looking forward to read the next books of Shiva Trilogy.

The way the author has depicted all the characters in this book is appreciating. For the very first time I have found such a book as captivating as when you watch a film.

The character of SHIVA being the almighty as people believe him to be and on the contrary the way he (Shiva) sees things around him, him being down to earth and true to himself has mesmerized me. The author has taken a great initiative to think and write about the characters in the book.

The book tells us about the journey of SHIVA from being a leader of his tribe to being a leader of the city of meluha. Meluha is a city of Suryavanshis and follows the laws of Lord RAM. It is land of truth, duty and honor where people strictly follow the rules. Upon entering the city of meluha with Nandi, Shiva is given somras (a medicinal drink). Due to somaras, his (shiva's) throat trues blue.

According to the prophecy believed by the meluhans, the person with blue throat known as Neelkanth will save Meluha from evil.

So now he starts his journey in meluha where he comes across Sati, daughter of Daksha who is king of Meluha. In spite of being a princess, Sati is known a Vikrama (the untouchable in the society due to their past sins). Shiva who is now fasinated tries to change the law against vikrama people. King Daksha follower of Shiva as the "great NEELKANTH" is bound to change the law given by his Neelkanth. Shiva then ties a knot with Sati with the approval of the king. The completion of the happy marriage of Shiva and Sati is unfortunately followed by an attack on Mount Mandar where the chief scientist and a good of Shiva goes missing presumed as killed. This event makes all the Meluhan furious and ready to attack the people who tried to plot against them. Shiva is forced to the conclusion that the attack on Mount Mandar was performed by the neighbouring kingdom i.e. CHANDRAVANSHIS.

Now, how will Shiva encounter the situation of the inevitable war between two neighbouring kingdoms i.e. the chandravanshis and the suryavanshis?

Will they get the answers as to why Mount Mandar was attacked?

This is a great debut by the author. I have always wondered how a historical and mythological story be written and what the response would be. But this is one of the best historical fictional story book that I have read.
