Worth reading 😎

A refreshing read with a personable approach. Mr. Covey laid it down very well.

I usually don't read the genre of 'self-help' books, but this one was recommended to me by a friend. And, to my surprise, I quite liked it. The book is written in a very personable and friendly style, with many anecdotes that help with understanding the principles.

The principles themselves may not be groundbreaking, but when put together are very effective (as the title of the book suggests). And that's the case with all good things in life: they may not be wild exotic ideas, but they are the ones that truly matter. A simple life is no bad life.

The book was a good length, I think mr. Covey said all he needed to say in its pages, he did not over-explain or explain too little on the subjects of the matter, rather just enough. And that was very refreshing as well, since many authors these days do both of those things. Sometimes at the same time. Mr. Covey is a world-class writer in that category (and many others).

I recommend this book to people who may be lost in life and need some simple (but very effective) advice on how to get back in the current of life. I recommend this book to people who are not, too, because if you're like me and know (usually) what you want to get out of life and what you want to put in, it is still a very interesting read. Fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It is definitely worth reading.

It is great as a gift as well. The book was gifted to me, and I thank God it did. Again, it is no groundbreaking book, but it kept me off the streets. I think we would all benefit from reading it even if just once. Truly.
