Must read 🏆

This book made me so emotional! Misha Collins is one of my favourite people in this world, so bare this in mind if you read my review.

This book made me so emotional! I must admit that I'm 100% biased, seeing as Misha Collins is one of my favourite people in this world, so bare this in mind if you read my review.

Just reading the acknowledgments had me tearing up and reading the poems for/about Vicki knowing they are no longer together broke my heart. I adore these two wonderful human beings and while I know (hope) that they are fine and happy and still love each other, it still saddens me to read Misha's feelings about it (at least the few glimpses he's given us).

While a few of his poems talk about more trivial things, the ones about Vicki, his kids, his parents and himself are full of emotion and meaning and I'm so thankful he let us see these parts of himself. He always manages to make me question my life –in a good way– making me want to better myself and what I offer to my community and the world and, of course, this book didn't disappoint.

Leaving aside my love for Misha, and having in mind that I'm not really a fan of poetry, I truly enjoyed reading this book. Now, I can't honestly tell you if his poetry is good or not, but I'm pretty sure everyone will enjoy at least a few of his poems; specially the ones in which he ponders about the meaning of life and his place in this world. But I understand that if you don't know anything about this man some of the poems might be quite boring to read.

100% recommend!!
