Diverse and inclusive, a lovely read with some slow burning romance sprinkled in it.
I finally got around to reading this one!! Thank you OWL's readathon! The book started out pretty slow for me and had this not been for a readathon, I might have ended up DNFing it at some point. I am glad I didn't as the story picked up near 100 pages and I did enjoy it through till the end. The ending felt really really rushed for some reason, it wasn't even a super long book so I do feel that it could have been dragged out a tiny bit more with extra details.
The main characters had a small blossoming romance and if I do end up buying the sequel, that would probably be why as I'm such a sucker from romances! The book was extremely diverse which is fantastic to see in YA novels and I really loved those characteristics! My 3 star rating does not mean this book was bad, I really did enjoy it! I just wish that some of the plot was more detailed and the writing was a bit crisper. None the less, if this one sounds interesting I'd definitely suggest it!
I truly love reading and being able to express it through my blog and on social media. I have a bookstagram, goodreads, twitter, and facebook all connected to my blog to share my love of books and reading on the internet!
