Pretty Girls

This book was terrific! I have had this book on my TBR list for a while and do not know why it took me so long to finally get around to reading it. I do know not to sleep on Karin Slaughter and that was absolutely the case for this book. Please, don't delay reading this book one second longer!

This story follows Claire as she navigates the violent, unexpected death of her husband Paul. Of course, as she begins her journey to find her new normal, she uncovers some unsettling and unnerving things about Paul that leave her shocked beyond all compare. Needless to say, she strikes out a mission to uncover the truth about everything. This book has it all in my opinion. We have a fairy tale love story, family drama, family trauma, and mystery all wrapped up in one fantastic story. This trip and story take us on a roller coaster ride which is absolutely what you expect from Karin Slaughter.

Although a few of the twists were predictable there were still a couple that I did not see coming. The predictable twists would not keep me from recommending this book to fellow readers. It is so entertaining and an edge of your seat mystery/thriller that nobody should miss out on this story. Since I am a huge Karin Slaughter fan, I think she can do no wrong and I would read the telephone book if she wrote it!

Don't pass this one up folks. It is amazing!
