Must read 🏆

It's rare that I find such a page turner as Oona, with the well thought out, yet unpredictable plot.

It's rare that I find such a page turner as Oona Out of Order. The ingenious plot that appears to be random, is brilliant. I had a hard time putting it down, because I wanted to see where she was jumping to next. Just when I thought I knew what was going on, it changed, brilliantly sewn together like a quilt.

Margarita Montimore brought me back to years of my life gone by and told an amazing story. Each leap was true to its time in the world. I loved that she used the year number instead of just applying Oona's ages. It gave us the opportunity to identify with the year from out own memories of things that happened in the world. I loved how the author used world events as tie ins for Oona's story. I found that riveting.

Oona lived a full life, even though she didn't know when she would be living next. The story was well balanced between laughs, cries, heartaches and highs. I adore how she used the leaps as the means for Oona to be wealthy enough to do whatever she wanted and needed to do with her life. This was a story of life, love, trauma, loss and adventure. It had it all, and I wouldn't have missed a page.

The only thing that I wondered about was the song. Was Oona part of the one hit wonder that Kenzie told her about? Unfortunately, I will never be certain. It was the one piece of story line that I wished she would have elaborated on. I understand that it was most likely cut, as editors will do to you. I really would have liked to know for sure.

Nevertheless, I can't imagine a more entertaining book, and I would recommend Oona Out of Order to anyone who loves a truly good read.
