Loved it! 😍

an interesting tale of mystery and the unknown...as the paranormal duo, Porter and The Gliss in their latest case taking place in the 60s.

Miniskirts are Murder is set in the 3rd person, giving the viewpoint of of more than one characters.

Chapter one begins in the year 1967, London a blonde-haired woman dodging puddles and as many stares as she could in the lunchtime crowd. Her tears were masked by the rain, scrunching the damp letter back into her coat pocket...

In the year 2017, the reader is introduced into Porter, as he is leaning against the iron railings of the burial plot, trying to avoid the gaze of a couple, who were walking past.

Porter is here with his spirit guide, The Gliss, an being that he and a few others can see to train his ability. Porter can hear the final words of the dead, but the graves that they are looking at are from the 19th century and as silent as the grave.

A council worker notices them and make them leave...

I am looking forward to reading Miniskirts are Murder!

I would recommend reading the first book, Dead & Talking to get a clear understanding of what is happening.

Miniskirts are Murder is a medium paced compelling story that is filled with humour and witt.

I like how Burkinshaw has created a good mystery book with a paranormal twist. Having not read the first book before starting Miniskirts are Murder, I felt that I had missed out on some of the relationship dynamics, but I still got some of the basic outline with Burkinshaw's brief throughtout Miniskirts are Murder.

Switching from the past and the year 2017, the reader is able to develop a great sense of the plot, and learn a little history of the time.

The character development of Miniskirts are Murder is really good. The characters are very likable. I particularly liked the banter between Porter and The Gliss and the other characters as it was fun to watch.

I would recommend reading Miniskirts are Murder to lovers of thrillers, as The reader is taken along for a enthralling ride with all the different characters, in an interesting tale of mystery and the unknown...as we follow the paranormal duo, Porter and The Gliss in their latest case taking place in the 60s.
