Steamy sex, drama, tragedy, forgiveness, and learning to not be a quitter makes this series interesting.
Oh, my! Where’s my fan? Turn on the air-conditioning. It is getting hot in here. And it is the middle of November in Georgia.
Danyell A. Wallace has not only written some books – she has WRITTEN some books. Her genre – well, let’s just say, they are very hot, steamy romance novels for mature eyes.
I’ll be honest, because of my beliefs and preferences, I normally shy away from such books. But this year, I turned 50, and have decided to broaden my ‘book horizon; some.
And, I am glad I did so with Wallace’s books.
In Mind F****k and F****k Perfect, Wallace puts it all in there -sex, drama, more sex, more drama, and stirred it all around quite nicely to give us a good story or two.
She peppered in tragedy and even threw in lessons in perseverance and forgiveness. The life lessons make this series more evolved than just a stereotypical adult romance novel.
Her character development read like a diary that most girls kept reflecting on friendships, boyfriends, and just people that crossed their paths in high school and beyond. Thus, it made it personable.
Giving any more detail would spoil it for you. Wallace shows tremendous potential as her craft becomes more defined with experience, and I look forward to reading more of her work.
The narratives, descriptions, and character development as well.
I see her going beyond the adult steamy romance novels and maybe penning some screenplays. Can’t wait to see it.
