Loved it! šŸ˜

A nice little book to give the kids some comfort during this crazy time that we live in with the virus and more.

In a world of uncertainty where people are getting sick, some are dying and our routines are not routine anymore, life today is a mess.

Children, they say, adapt pretty easy to ā€œmessesā€ or changes. But we need to remember that they need us as adults to be straight with them, to explain to them the mess.

Tammy Parker, her wisdom as a mother and school psychologist, shines through as she brings not only a good explanation (that maybe some adults need to hear and absorb) but gives some comfort that children will be glad to get.

Parker uses a conversation style that is at an easy to comprehend level, and the illustrations offer color and a sense of calmness and regular in the irregular times we live.

Sometimes, all a child needs to be able understand what is going on, is for some time - and to be talked with, not told, and for someone to chat with them. They have a lot of questions, and now with the virus impacting a lot of lives, it has to be scary. Parker uses her experience to help kids.
