Mystery. Suspense. Romance. Twists you won’t see coming. I couldn’t put this book down. This is an absolute must read. The relatable characters and captivating storyline left me racing from page to page to find out what happened next.

I haven’t read a YA or “magical” book in years, so I was a bit apprehensive to pick this one up. However, author Meredith Lindsey completely blew my expectations out of the water. Her magnetic writing style was a delightful surprise, and kept me engaged from beginning to end. It was a quick read, and I wasn’t ready for it to end! 

You never know what to expect reading a debut novel. But Lindsey didn’t disappoint! Her story writing is incredible. If I hadn’t known this was a debut novel, I would have believed this quality writing was from an experienced author. Lindsey painted such a vivid image of the surroundings, it felt as if I were with the characters in the book. The writing was smooth, and free from spelling and grammatical mistakes. This (in addition to the outstanding story telling) made this an incredibly easy read.

5/5 - I emphatically recommend this binge worthy book! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. If you enjoy mystery, thill, or suspense, you will too! I sincerely cannot wait for Meredith Lindsey’s next book. If her first book is any indication, I truly expect to see great things from Lindsey in the future!
