The sex is harsh, real, and at times horrific. Abused children carry their hurt and shame all their lives unless addressed. Most are fearful of being called out, of finger pointing and others making statements of disbelief. In this case, it was all real, it happened harsh as it might be to understand reading about such events, try to put yourself in the child's place, he told and was not believed, what does a child do when telling of these horrific events and no one believes him. Its a line up, setup really, in that the child is left with running away or staying in a home where he knows that every day will be a day from hell.
