With how fluidly this book read, it had me hooked within just a few chapters. Every chapter had me compelled to keep reading!
I chose to read this book because it has great reviews. I had no idea just how much I
would really enjoy this book. It was easy to get lost in Harriet's story and that is
exactly what happened to me. By the time I knew what was happening, I was
already halfway through this amazing book. I started to find myself making excuses
to not read more than just a chapter or two so I could draw it out because I was not
ready for this book to end. There are some books out there that I struggle to want
to read, meaning it's just not gripping my attention and this book had my full
attention from the very first chapter. This was one of those books that really makes
you feel what the characters are feeling, I haven't cried over a good book in a very
long time but this one had me in tears a few times. I really enjoyed the way
the book was written, it was easy to follow and it made the story flow.
"Happy Place" by Emily Henry was a great introduction to her work and
definitely has me looking into more titles from her. I greatly enjoyed this book and
would highly recommend this title to anyone and everyone who may be looking
for a good book to read. This was my first 5-star rating and I don't feel that I
could've picked a better title to have as my first! I was very happy with the ending,
it's always a good feeling when what you want to happen at the end of a book
actually happens. It almost felt like validation for reading the entire book and
getting so emotional at some points but this book was very worth the time it took
to read. "Happy Place" by Emily Henry is 5 stars from me and if you enjoy a good
romance, this is definitely a top choice!
I am a married YouTuber who really enjoys reading and would like to become a reviewer. I would love to make something of a career out of this because working with books and words is my dream job.
