Worth reading 😎

When I first started reading the book I was glad to find that it followed the story almost word by word.

I read this book after watching the TV series because I loved the show. And when I first started reading the book I was glad to find that it followed the story almost word by word.

I really like the relationship between Aziraphale and Crowley, the way they get along and understand each other despite being on opposite sides. Their dynamics are really fun and sweet and you can really feel how much they’ve come to mean and care for each other.

This being said, I found the story to be a little bit boring at times. Maybe because I already knew what was happening and I wasn’t as intrigued, but I found some parts difficult and tedious to read. Thankfully I really liked the characters and I was somewhat interested in following their story.

I must admit that I liked the show better than the book (something that I’ve only experienced once before -with Noah Gordon’s the Physician), perhaps because of the outstanding performances of the amazing David Tennant and Michael Sheen –two of my favorite actors. But, seeing as without this book the show wouldn’t have happened, and that the show follows the book almost to the word, it is a really good book.
