Such a great book! Highly recommend! You'll learn how to navigate life's disappointments plus so much more.
We all have expectations, high hopes, big dreams that sometimes get dashed, dissolved or delayed, leaving us to feel what author Christine Hassler describes so well... hungover. And if you are like me, a recovering expectation addict, stuck in situations that keep repeating themselves, then it might be time to read Ms. Hassler's Expectation Hangover.
There are so many great nuggets in this book! Page after page, I found myself highlighting things I could relate to and laughing through the section of what doesn't work to fill that hole in the heart, because I've tried them all!
I liked reading other people's stories that are scattered throughout the book along with the quotes that add more clarity to what the author is trying to express. Expectation Hangover is a well-written book that will restore your balance. It's easy to follow the steps to recovery, well, there's work to be done for sure, but the directions are clear and so worth doing!
Christine Hassler writes, "The consciousness of our planet is shifting. People are waking up. You are waking up, and you can thank you Expectation Hangover for the wake-up call. The ability to adapt to new life situations is essential if we are going to successfully respond to the call for change and evolution."
I concure.
