This short detective story was really cute and brings back memories of my childhood

Synopsis

Dylan and Emily are back in book #3 of this series. This time, someone took the Camp Leaf trophy. Can they track down the prize in time for the camp games?

Dylan and his little sister, Emily, don’t go anywhere without Dylan’s detective kit. Their trusty dog, Theodore, is always by their sides, ready to lend a helping paw. While the kids are away at camp, the Camp Leaf games trophy goes missing. Together with some old friends and a few new ones, Dylan and Emily set off to track down the trophy.

Detective Dylan and the Thief of Camp Leaf is a great children's story and is a

great book for a child to tap into there cents of adventure, problem solving skills,

and case cracking for imaginative young detectives.

Dylan's books are a youth

sleuth three book series, this once number 3 with twists and turns on who did the crime. It's created by M.J Murray.

M.J Murray has also created other books like Amese of animalis and Ridley Vance

and the cursed treasure, this book has a sweet dynamic with the older brother and

his little sister enjoying their camping experience while solving a crime as they follow the cluses that lead them to the mystery thief of Camp Leaf. This book gave me the view from a child's point of view on how they us their imagination and how they stick to different unsolved problems to get to the truth behind each clue to solve the mystery.

I loved the cute relationship between the brother and sister and their problem

solving skills as they work together to solve the mystery. This book is so wholesome the way the siblings engaged with each other, and with the people around them throughout the camp, it really gives of a cent's of child like wonder and brings out the child like nostalgia of when I was a kid and how I used to play different games like doctor or house. I used to us my imagination and pretend to be anything I wanted to be before I got into trying to be an artist and a cartoonist when

I got into art and cartoons when I read a book called Junie B. Jones

Book series.

I started tracing characters in the book and imaging myself being friends with the characters and creating my own character when I was little, it was really fun to just imagine myself in another world when I would read children's books or books that were about magical girls, and reminded me of my childhood that's why I really liked reading this book and I hope anyone that reads this book will feel the same when they read it to themselves or their children, that's why I recommend people read this book and I hope the author comes up with more cute books like this.
