The obnoxious Benny Brothers, twin terrors of the fourth grade, are prime suspects. But if the Benny Brothers didn’t swipe the bases, who did?

It will keep the target audience of young readers ages five to nine engaged and turning pages. The pacing is brisk. The tone is upbeat and inquisitive. The text encourages readers to put on their thinking caps and join Dylan and Emily and pals as they hunt for clues and try to solve the mystery of who stole the bases. It’s clever. It’s witty.
