What would YOU do if…
Everyone around you disappeared and suddenly you were in a circus?
A beam of moonlight tattooed your arm with a circus act you are meant to master?
You and four strangers were brought together to defeat The Shadows?
Jaiden, Stella, Adam, Eli, and Laura had no idea either. One minute Jaiden was worried about a date, Stella was babysitting, Eli was running away from Adam, Laura was sneaking out – and the next, they were meeting R.L., the ringleader of Cirque.
With the guidance of R.L. and their trainers, they become a human cannonball, acrobats, an equestrian, a clown, and most importantly – Shadow Chasers.
This teen fantasy story is very much my favorite genre. I've been really into the fantasy genre lately and there's a lot of action-adventure like in this story.
It's as if I'm part of the main cast. It's like I'm in a big circus and I have some new friends with different personalities, Jaiden, Stella, Adam, Eli, and Laura; and also me of course .lol.
R. L; the ringleader of Cirque. she's actually a bit annoying, or completely annoying. Because in a story like this, there has to be an annoying character, right, as well as a villainous character to grab the readers' attention. The plot twist in this story is also very interesting to me. I really want to be the main character and go on an adventure to find solutions and answers to everything that happens in the story.
How did I get trapped in that circus, and where did the people go to leave me alone there. and how do I get home.
I can find the answers only from going through the stories in this book, each chapter I need to go to and I need to try the challenges.
I can feel myself becoming a circus member in this teen fantasy story. it's very difficult and annoying for sure but this job is not easy for everyone, I have to study and learn in order to blend in with the other circus performers, even though I was left alone in that world. inevitably in order to survive and get out of that world, I need to create, right.
I had to deal with RL and my circus trainer, I dealt with other circus performers who each had their own grievances and interesting lives too, but I didn't have to continue to stay in this world, I had to get out. and that exit was what I needed to find.
I was confused and tense as I read every word in this book. you will feel the same way I did, I'm sure of it!
