CBAR - Conceive, Believe, Achieve, Receive

Loved it! 😍

Engaging content-heavy guide to living a wholesome life which uses physics analogies to demystify the workings of the mind and the universe

Perdigao draws from a wide variety to sources to present convincing evidence in favor of his arguments. In the preface, he mentions an exhaustive list of books on religion, spirituality, self-improvement, and science that he used to form the ideas presented in CBAR. If you're so inclined, the list is enough reading material for several months.

Most interestingly, he describes the relationship between the universe and the mind using physics analogies, statistics, and theoretical calculations. The seven universal laws (Law of Oneness, Law of Vibration, Law of Attraction, Law of Reaction, Law of Polarity, Law of Relativity, and Law of Rhythm), applied sequentially, enable one to move through the process of creation of life goals.

Each chapter begins with an inspiring quote that at once sums up the content and provides a starting point for introspection and further contemplation. Perdigao has put in a vast amount of effort in researching this book and it shows!

Through the steps of Conceive, Believe, Achieve, and Receive, he helps the reader build self-esteem and set goals that are challenging, yet reachable. Perdigao provides actionable steps without rhetorical fluff, backing up his theory with parallels drawn from science and philosophy.

Concepts like the Vision Board focusing on the Five Foundations, goal affirmations, following a daily routine that works for you (includes meditation, exercise, practicing gratitude), and being aware of "dream crushers" can be practically followed by nearly anyone--with minor tweaks made to suit one's lifestyle.

CBAR is a great book to sink your teeth into, and whether or not you feel you're happy, successful, or content, I'm sure you will find something of interest in this guide. Highly recommended!
