Thank you, Adriana, for giving me an Advance Reader Copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review.
The journey of Adriana is fascinating and inquisitive read that readers will not get bored throughout the narration. The author perfectly weaves the story using simply written language and in a manner that arises curiosity in each chapter.
Another Day in Paradise begins in the midst of the flames of war. In The Meantime, a young girl Adriana is growing up in Sarajevo. As the emotions cannot be diminished by the brutality of war, young Adriana wanders around her mischievous deeds. The author perfectly reflects the nature of the teenage mind at she opened her views intrinsically without giving an extra effort to emphasize human nature when it comes to emotions and feelings.
There are many emotional scenes involved in the story. Adriana made a strong decision to escape to London and this narration goes through all the hardships and efforts she made to make her dream to reality. The letters exchanged with her parents and family are overwhelmed with love and affection. That reflects the sentiments of long-distance relationships and how painful they are. Parents are waiting to have a letter from their daughter for almost a month. The burden of feelings is perfectly engraved by the writer.
When the readers turn pages ahead there will be more characters engaging with the story. Each character is well developed to unveil the reality of society. I found the scenes of Dean and Matt are very interesting and curious. I enjoyed all of their scenes very much. Not only that but also every chapter of this book is well-written and readers can enjoy each page as every turn gives a new experience.
I very much appreciate Adriana’s efforts to write this story and I really enjoyed the whole read. Another Day in Paradise is a rare gem that anyone can enjoy. , Since the story consists of numerous sexual acts, it might not fit for kids. However, a must-read for every adult.
