Must read 🏆

The book consists of 12 of her stories, each unique and thought-provoking. From her first story, A Trace of Sadness.

Synopsis

Pathological liar? Sociopathic killer? Or just a troubled kid seeking attention? These are the questions that haunt therapist Selena Harris as she undertakes the most challenging case of her career.

Sitting on a couch two feet across from her is an ordinary-looking teenager who confessed in a text, inadvertently broadcast to his entire school, to murdering an autistic child left in his care. With no evidence to support Leal Porter’s testimony, authorities have referred him to Selena for counseling.

Challenging her professional distance is the emotional bond she develops with this lonely, isolated boy, whom classmates describe as “that scrawny kid who talks to himself at his locker.” Although Selena believes the alleged victim is the product of her client’s fevered imagination, she harbors one major doubt:

What if she’s wrong?

Stepping outside the confines of her office in a quest for clues, Selena is determined to separate fact from fiction. But nothing in her experience prepares her for the harrowing revelation of the inner demon that lurks beneath the surface of Leal’s confession.

The book consists of 12 of her stories, each unique and thought-provoking. From her first story, A Trace of Sadness, in which a young woman tries to come to terms with the loss of her mother, to her final story, An End to Etcetera, about love, loss, and hope. Faced with adversity, each story in this collection is a powerful reflection of human existence.

One of the things that makes this book so compelling is her author's weaving of complex themes and ideas in a deft and insightful prose style. Each story is beautifully written, with vivid descriptions and a keen eye for detail that bring characters and locations to life in engaging and emotionally engaging ways.

Another strength of this book is its ability to capture the diversity of human experience. The stories in this collection cover a wide range of topics, from love and loss to the challenges of growing up and the complexities of family relationships. Despite this diversity, each story is grounded in a deep understanding of the human experience and how we deal with the challenges and struggles that come with it.

But perhaps the book's greatest strength is its ability to touch the reader on a deep and emotional level. Each story in this collection has the power to move and inspire, challenge and provoke, and leave the reader with a sense of both the beauty and pain of the human experience.

Overall, An End to Etcetera is a remarkable book worth reading and celebrating. It's a powerful testament to the resilience of the human mind, and an inspiring exploration of the complexities of our lives and how we deal with the challenges that face us. Whether you're a fan of the short story or just looking for a book that touches your heart and inspires your soul, An End to Etcetera is a must-read and gives you the hope and wonder you can expect. ..
