Worth reading 😎

It is an exciting book, the storyline is something new and the world is described in a particular way. Still, something is missing in it....

The story revolves around the daughter of Demeter, Persephone. It is a modern world and Persephone is portrayed as a student studying in university and Demeter is a possessive mother. The book starts with Persephone making adjustments to the modern world on her own and acing as a university student and believing she doesn't have any powers of her own and she just dreams about having freedom which she was not able to have when she was under her mother's care. She has a close friend with whom she shares her life, she is depicted as a girl who is in her 20s immature and what's to be successful in her life. Meanwhile, a friend of hers is a bubbly girl who is obsessed with gods who now in the modern world are described dressed like mortals and all of them owning different businesses. The friend of her invites her to go along with her to a nightclub owned by Hades who has a dark reputation and is feared by mortals the story takes an interesting turn when Persephone meets Hades and it becomes more intimate in a way and it is passionate. The first book is all about Hades and Persephone having steamy chemistry but Persephone is not able to accept that Hades can be anything more than a wicked god but as she gets to know him more she accepts there is more to him. It is a beginning of a relationship in the first book with lots of drama. Persephone discovers her power, viewing the underworld in a different way. Falling in love with Hades and then realising there are quite a few misunderstandings about how all of it started.

I am interested in books, like isn’t it awesome that they exist. Books are altogether another world in themselves, it’s like any time you feel like changing the world you can do it as long as you are reading one....
