This book is about a women and a man who met during the pandemic and decided to spend it together but during lockdown, something changes.
Really good thriller
So I initially clicked on this book because of the cover and title which are two things that the writer has done extremely well with. The shattered clock with the words "56 days" brought a load of questions to my head so out of curiosity, I read the first look. That alone made me extremely excited knowing that the book was exactly what I look for in a book and my type. Therefore, I started to read the whole book.
Two people, Oliver and Ciara meet in Dublin and have a different to usual relationship the very week the coronavirus stuck the Irish shores, which nearly their relationship apart. They decided to spend quarantine together. During this time, we discover that Oliver is not the person he seems to be around Ciara and he hides his real self from her.
I didn't think that thrillers would be starting to be written on the pandemic so soon but I'm not complaining.
Personally, I think that this is a very good book to read due to the mystery of Oliver and how Clara deals with it. An extremely well written thriller/mystery story. Would definitely recommend reading this some time.
