📚 Overview
During this Monday Masterclass, editor Heather Demetrios will live-edit viewer-submitted passages and provide feedback on elements such as openings, tone, and sentence structure. This session will be open to fiction and memoir writers.
Register for instructions on how to submit your writing for consideration. We will choose four pieces to feature in the live edit, carefully selecting a mix of genres and styles. If you just want to watch, there's no need to submit anything — just tune in!

In this live edition session, you will:
- Learn how to spot areas of improvement in your writing
- Get practical self-editing advice through real-life examples
- Gain an understanding of what an editor looks for at the revision stage
At the end of the session, there will be a live Q&A where you will get the chance to ask Heather anything you’d like about writing and revising.

Heather Demetrios
Author and Book Coach
Heather Demetrios is a critically acclaimed author, writing coach, and mental health professional. Her novels include Little Universes, I’ll Meet You There, and Exquisite Captive. Her nonfiction includes the Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection Code Name Badass: The True Story of Virginia Hall. She is the recipient of the PEN America Discovery Award for her debut novel, Something Real. She holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and wants to teach you everything she knows.
