Overview
As a writer who is also an editor I understand the sensitivity with which writers approach their work, and know from experience the vulnerability that comes with drafting a manuscript. I have worked with hundreds of first-time novelists, memoirists and non-fiction writers across genre, including literary and mainstream, suspense, historical, crime and dystopian. I am fluent in the technical aspects of producing a submission-ready manuscript, and have an instinct for identifying underlying themes. I'm passionate about helping writers to find the story they want or need to tell. Editorial feedback can sometimes feel like having one’s soul critiqued, and I'm as interested in the human and psychological dimensions of writing and storytelling as I am in supporting writers to produce publishable works.
