I am a developmental editor, author coach, and published writer. My love of the written word led to the creation of Three Crows Editorial, where I spend my days (and most nights) helping writers achieve their dreams.
As a professional editor, my experience includes critiquing and editing fiction and nonfiction projects, although my passion lies with fantasy, dystopian, and romance for YA and NA readers. A lifelong storyteller, I know firsthand the importance of preserving the individual voice, and how authors benefit from the help and support of emotionally invested writing professionals. For this reason, I take a hands-on approach, becoming one with every writer I work with to uphold the author’s vision and create the best story possible.
I have published numerous articles, short stories, and my first fantasy novel trilogy, The Adriance Chronicles: COPPER SUN will release in 2020. Nonfiction work I've produced can be seen in several publications, including pieces for the Ian Somerhalder Foundation.
A University of Michigan graduate (Go BLUE!), I'm also trained in marketing and work with clients on content development, marketing strategy, blogs, social media, and how not to take oneself too seriously.
When my face isn’t buried in a book, I enjoy lounging with my clan of cats, watching way too many paranormal TV shows (#TVD rules!), and laughing until my cheeks hurt with my goofball family.
Let's create your epic!
Works to guide authors by offering specific suggestions about the core intentions and goals of their story, character development, use of dialogue and sensory description, narrative voice, pacing, style, and language to create a marketable book that strengthens the author's vision and leaves readers spellbound.
