Mara Weible

Mara Weible – Editor

I’ve edited texts about reading and writing for more than a decade. My expertise is in education, but I'm always excited to branch out.

Overview

After 14 years of full-time editorial experience in the publishing industry, I decided to share my development editor expertise on a freelance basis. I've specialized in educational publishing, and most of the authors I have worked with have been higher education instructors of writing and literature. I continue to enjoy my work in those fields, but I'm always interested in branching out. Having been an editor for so many years, I am in the habit of providing carefully considered suggestions, and I'm always happy to discuss writing challenges, changes, and goals. Offering global and sentence-level advice that helps authors reach the widest audience possible makes my day.
