Overview

I'm a professional writer with 15+ years of experience working in spaces both public and private. Currently, I am contracted to several media placement and publicity services in the US and abroad where I craft PRs, create marketing campaigns, and develop event strategies. I have worked with multiple authors to plan campaigns for their novel's publication and am more than happy to point the way to those services that I believe are best value when it comes to advertising for a particular type of book or novel.

As a ghostwriter I have completed over 15 print and eBooks with topics ranging from Green Tea to Branding and 3 fiction novels for an established author who no longer wishes to continue her series but cannot disappoint her fans. No, not GRRM or that last book would be finished by now! I enjoy both research and the creative process and believe there is nothing I would rather do in this world than write. Whether nonfiction or fiction, I am truly blessed to make a living doing what I love. I take on projects of all sizes, and can offer any level of support. Some people want their ghostwriters to do it all, while others want consulting and editing--either way, I am happy to help.

I am currently writing under the pen name Tiffany Thomas for my own works. I have a rather large fantasy novel coming out in May and a Broadway play/musical being produced by Raleigh Music.

I am a press release writer and event manager. I work with clients one-on-one to develop their media strategy and create a press release that will demonstrate their expertise or skill. I distribute the release through our service, either as a media branding campaign and/or event campaign. Depending on the level of service needed, I also make phone calls, develop relationships with media in the various regions of a book tour or event, and work with local event managers to host a party or reading.

Over twenty years of writing experience that includes marketing and business development, press releases, web content, technical manuals, and ghostwriting (fiction and non-fiction). My ability to write in a plethora of styles and voices has made me a “go to” ghostwriter for celebrities and national figures. I have worked on presidential and mayoral campaigns as a writer, was selected by Peter Raleigh Music to write a Broadway musical, and is currently the content writer for award-winning full stack designer Anthony Phills.

Knight

I was contracted to do the publicity for a series of spy thrillers that is being introduced through a new style of MPI publishing called "Binge." It was very important that we demonstrate value, quality, and prestige because we were launching not just a book series but a publishing style.

Branding
Step One was to develop a media kit that was very top shelf and we would be happy pointing anyone to, reader or NYT Book Reviewer. See Once we were confident in the media kit, we sent out a PR through a media placement service. This promises placement, albeit that placement doesn't last very long because they are local news affiliates. What this does, however, is give the author/company the power to use the logos and help to piggyback their product off of the brand image of the news station. He can now send out his phase two releases with: "As covered by the Houston Times and ABC, The Knight Trilogy..."

Media Engagement
We are now in the media engagement stage where we are reaching out to various publications or reviewers associated with thrillers or innovations in publishing. That means several releases and follow ups. In the next three months he will be featured in major publications in the US, Caribbean, and UK.

Advertising
At present we are selecting those social channels and advertising methods which will deliver the highest returns (Book Butterfly is great) and will set up a few chosen book readings at area book stores that will help us to gain visibility, experience and press.
