Sterling Davenport - Editor

Florida

LGBT advocate and scholar passionate about words, design, and the beauty in the spaces between people.

Overview

I'm an LGBT advocate and scholar, born and raised in the South, and I currently reside in Gainesville, FL. I recently completed my MA in History, focusing on LGBT history with a strong emphasis on gender studies. I'm looking for ways to translate my research background into helping other authors and scholars most faithfully represent the worlds they create as well as the world we inhabit. Outside of the academy, I collect and restore antique and vintage furniture and home decor. Saving a classic piece from oblivion is one of life's greatest pleasures.
