I have been a Spanish interpreter and translator since 1985. I spent the first 18 years of my life in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I earned my bachelor's degree and then graduated in Modern Languages at the IULM university in Milan, Italy. I studied translation and interpretation in Florence. I currently live in northern Italy but I also live in the US, Latin America and other European countries for short periods at a time. I have worked as a freelance interpreter for the European Union institutions for over 20 years and have translated hundreds of brochures and pages of technical text as well as a few children's books. I am a member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters- AIIC.
Though my main sphere or activity is interpretation I love doing written translations. I love to analyze and penetrate texts and words, search for meaning, feel out rhythm and register.
