They're special not just because many of the titles we worked on together have landed on the New York Times bestseller list, but because these authors speak to kids who still have one foot in the magical world of childhood even as they approach the unknowns of adulthood.

These authors make it easier for kids to make that transition. They make it fun. Not by talking down to kids, but by meeting them where they are, by telling them the truth, even if that truth sometimes comes in the form of a fantasy novel.
