Serena Yang

Serena Yang – Editor

Experienced proofreader specializing in children's non-fiction, STEM comics/manga, DIY handbooks, and programming guides.

Overview

I have more than eight years of production experience at an SF-based publisher, where I focused on creating a wide variety of technical books, including programming books for kids and adults, science and math comics, software and hardware handbooks, and even LEGO building guides. I am passionate about the written word and visual design, with an eagle eye for spotting both typos and layout mistakes. I know the agony of catching an error too late, so with every project, I endeavor to give the authors I work with the confidence that their books are ready to go out into the world.
