I've worked in book design for over seven years. I specialise in high-end photo-manipulation work, but I love designing all genres. I've worked with both self-published authors and traditional publishing houses, dedicating my time to make authors feel like best sellers.
My goal is to help change the stigma of self-publishing and show it's a professional field of high quality. I do this by designing beautiful book covers, teaching design skills, and working together with authors to produce the best book they can.
Director and owner of The Book Design House (previously the Scarlett Rugers Book Design Agency). Changing the lives of authors through design and education.
