I am a writer of articles, books and blogs. Although I am very versatile, my specialities are medical, writing about addiction and relocation to a new country. My preference is to write in first person, which allows me to really connect with my readers.
I have a varied background. I studied journalism, but quickly learned that television and radio weren't the place for me. I spent more than two decades in corporate America in various roles (mostly marketing). I used to joke that working a "9-5 job" was getting in the way of what I really loved most in life: writing.
In 2007 my husband and I (we were both working in biotech) decided to leave the corporate world and buy a farm in Puerto Rico. Once free from "daily grind" and the politics of corporate life, I rediscovered what I had loved doing since I was 7-years-old.
My epiphany was in 2009 and I have been freelance writing every day since. I have been very fortunate to have an eclectic base of clients. I have written hundreds of articles (both for bylines and as a ghost) and 10 books (most of them on relocation to a new country).
I am available for both ghostwriting projects and bylined work.
