Overview

Working with an editor and writing coach is a big commitment. My job is to make sure that you are writing the book YOU want to write, not the book I think you should write. I have worked with writers who, after spending thousands of dollars and months of frustration working with another editor, ended up with a book that was not the book they had in mind. That is a heartbreaking experience. And it can ruin a book and end a writer's career.

A good editor moves her ego aside. A good editor hones in on what the writer wants and needs to express and helps the writer get their ideas out into the world. A good editor nurtures and shapes, but does not leave a heavy footprint on the manuscript she is editing. We will work together to bring YOUR book into the world. To create the best possible version of the story YOU want and need to tell.

Let's talk about your project and see if it and we are a good fit. If not, I'll be honest with you. If it is, I will work incredibly hard and help you send your book out into the world.

I've been writing and editing for the past 23 years. I am the ghostwriter on numerous books. I'm happy to share references and book titles upon request.
