Hello! I'm a UK based writer and editor.
I write, adapt, and edit manuscripts with a particular focus on children's and YA books, and books for the educational market.
Middle Grade is my passion, and I'm able to write in many different genres. I've worked for Penguin, Ladybird, DELTA and more (some I can't legally shout about yet!) adapting contemporary and iconic texts for the ELT market. I'm particularly proud about my ability to adapt a text to a new reading ability/age group and can expertly guide you on this - e.g: are you aiming for MG but it's reading much older? I'm the one to help fix this for you.

I am also an agency assistant at a children's literary agency and can assist you in polishing your query letter.
I have a BA in Journalism from the University of Brighton and an MA in Children's Literature from Goldsmiths, University of London.
I'm available for: proofreading, short-form content, copy editing, query letter review, text adapting.
