Rosie Spencer – Editor

I am a copy-editor and proofreader with two decades' experience in professional publishing. I work in all genres of fiction and non-fiction.

Overview

With two decades of experience in professional publishing, I can guarantee you the highest level of care and attention for your project. I have worked across a wide range of projects, from literary fiction to PhD theses to art, architecture and design titles. I am open to all genres of fiction and non-fiction, and can turn my hand to any style of writing or subject matter. I have worked with many high-profile clients, including Turner Prize-winning artist Lubaina Himid, architects David Chipperfield and Andreas Martin-Löf, designer Alexander Lervik and artist Ryan Gander. I was project editor for the major contemporary photography survey Vitamin Ph: New Perspectives on Photography, published by Phaidon, as well as editing the catalogue for the Venice Architecture Biennale, several exhibition catalogues for Richard Nagy Gallery, and book projects with the British Council, the Crafts Council, the Royal College of Art and the National Trust. I have also copy-edited and sub-edited for a variety of magazines, including GQ magazine, Icon magazine, Apollo magazine, Disegno magazine, Jocks & Nerds magazine and The Art Newspaper.

I have recently completed a novella, which has been endorsed by HarperCollins author Will Wiles, so I know what it's like on the other side of the fence! I am an eagle-eyed editor and proofreader with a highly professional attitude and a passion for crafting the written word. I look forward to hearing from you.
