I'm an experienced editor based in the UK, working with publishers and authors worldwide. I specialise in genre fiction and trade non-fiction, and love being part of shaping a book project and helping bring a story to life. I have worked on bestsellers and award winners during my time as an editor and have wide-ranging tastes, but my favourite genres are fantasy/speculative fiction, thrillers, and romance. In terms of age category, I'm happy to work on adult, YA, and middle grade books.

Notable clients I've worked with include Black Library (publishers of Warhammer fiction), Bloodhound Books, Bookouture/Hachette UK, and Skyhorse Publishing. I'm a member of several industry-standard organisations for professional editors.

Outside of editing, I'm an agented author myself. I've been on the other side of an edit letter, so I understand how much your words mean to you and will always respect your vision and your voice.

I am a new writer, and Rachel not only seemed very interested in my book, but she often communicated with me about not only the use of Reedsy, as I didn't understand the system that well, but also about editing itself, which I was very new at.
