Overview

I'm a writer and editor in New York City. For more than four years, I worked at Little, Brown and Company, where I worked on bestselling and award-winning books across fiction and non-fiction, including #1 New York Times
bestsellers Obama: An Intimate Portrait and Shade by Pete Souza, Down the River unto the Sea by Walter Mosley, Thurber Award-winning Hits and Misses by Simon Rich, and multi-award-winning Deep Run Roots by Vivian Howard.

I'm an editorial jack-of-many-trades and I love to learn new things and experience new worlds. Reach out to me about fiction or non-fiction projects with an exciting or innovative concept, a strong authorial point of view, or something new to tell the world.

Prior to my time at Little, Brown, I wrote and edited for the Harvard Lampoon (and graduated from Harvard University on the side). I'd love to work with you.

Nicky did such a great job on my second book that I asked her to go back and take a look at another one. She cleaned up errors, called out inconsistencies and asked challenging questions--all in a professional and respectful fashion. I hired Nicky to copyedit my book, Heirs on Fire, and was very glad I did. I found her to be extremely thoughtful and collaborative. She effectively polished the manuscript with tracked adjustments for style and usage and was always careful to explain any changes that might have altered the precise meaning of what I intended to say. She made my book better and I am grateful.

But from first contact, Nicky eradicated my worries. She understood my book from the jump and maintained the tone and direction of the book while thoroughly editing each and every line. She was incredibly efficient, intentional wit...
