With nearly 7 years in the publishing industry, I know the book acquisition and publication process inside and out. I'm also a tough editor for all kinds of nonfiction. I majored in creative nonfiction writing at Brown University, where I did internships at McSweeney's, Scholastic, and n+1. After graduating in 2010, I completed the Columbia Publishing Course and then began at Simon & Schuster, where for four years I edited a range of things, from quirky nonfiction to celebrity memoir. I don't work in traditional publishing anymore, but helping people get their books seen by the right people is still a passion. So say hello!
I develop partnerships with publishers who use the Atavist platform to publish premium content. Client goals drive our product roadmap, and I lead efforts with our developers to build features.
I’ve edited and project-managed celebrity and top-performing books, from Rob Lowe to Arnold Schwarzenegger to Clive Davis to Chris Matthews. My own list of narrative nonfiction looked at the world from unusual perspectives, from people who fake their own deaths to the battle against rust.
