I have a degree in traditional illustration from Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I spent 8 years in the advertising world as a Studio Artist and finally Art Director, before leaving to pursue my dream of freelancing full time. My time as a staff illustrator on a small team helped me to develop a versatility that allowed me to meet the needs of all types of clients. My time as a freelancer has allowed me to dive into the world of children's illustration, which was always my passion. My style has a range, and whether you're looking for something sleek and bright or hand drawn and loose, I can help!
