After a career in luxury fashion and client services, I returned to my passion for design and started my freelancing business in January 2017.
This boutique professional skills consultancy wanted to refresh their WordPress website and needed input on which theme to choose, copywriting, SEO and website performance. Following the sucess of the new website, the Founder, Neil Seligman, asked me to work on his other websites.
Researched, tested and graded the performance of several reputable WordPress themes, then delivered reports to the client to help in the decision-making
Conducted SEO keyword research for each business and put together reports outlining my recommendations
Crafted captions and other key copy
Edited and optimised the rest of the website content, including stock image research
Migrated all websites to a new and more performant hosting provider
Integrated relevant websites with the Mailchimp API, YouTube's API and Woocommerce
Designed and built a custom WordPress website for leading Executive Coach, Jennifer Broadley. Following the launch, her website generated more business enquiries in its first month than it had for all of the previous year. Highlights of the project include:

With over 80,000 Youtube subscribers and an abundance of high-quality, original content, MotoGeo are fast becoming one of the most popular motorcycle websites out there. They came to me looking to rethink the MotoGeo site; a big part of the brief was to make the website as customisable and flexible as possible so that the website could grow with them.
Highlights of the project include:
Conducted in-depth research of the motorcycle industry and its digital landscape
Analysed some of the most successful content websites to ascertain user engagement and retention strategies
Delivered SEO recommendations on keywords and future content topics
Designed the User Experience in accordance with these findings
Created four different design concepts and presented each to the client
Designed the final pages, then adapted each design to all devices
Coded the designs into a highly customisable WordPress theme where all elements can easily be edited by the client, including the mapping of future content categories and how they display on the homepage
Created comprehensive guidelines to help the client independently manage and edit the website
Integrated with Shopify's Buy SDK to create a custom storefront hosted on the website instead of on Shopify
Advised on and supported with AdSense integration
Carried out extensive testing on local and remote devices to ensure that the website is accessible to the majority of users and that the experience is consistent across major browsers.
