I'm a children's picture book illustrator living in the cornfields outside of Chicago. For several years I worked in graphic design but 2 years ago I decided to get serious about illustrating – something I always loved because of the storytelling aspect. I draw mostly from my cartooning background and influences, and I love to put characters in odd and unusual situations.
