“Loan Le is an extraordinarily wise, perceptive, and kind editor, gently but firmly guiding a book to the next level. In her capable hands, my book became what I’d dreamed it could be. Any author would be fortunate to work with her.”
-Gwen Florio, author of Silent Hearts
“Loan is not only an exceptional editor that I highly recommend for any project, she is a team player that goes above and beyond her role. On Contagious Optimism she led teams beyond expectation, she made suggestions that improved our publication, and she edited our manuscripts to perfection. I cannot thank her enough and I am certain that much of our success was due to Loan and our terrific teams.”
-David Mezzapelle, author of the Contagious Optimism series
Loan Le is a freelance editor specializing in fiction projects. For fiction projects, she enjoys reading accessible literary fiction, cozy romance with strong female protagonists, and spine-chilling psychological thrillers. She possesses an editorial eye for plot and structure, characterization, and dialogue; she aims to make the writer’s prose sing. Her editorial letters are thorough and honest, giving and demanding. She also accepts select nonfiction.
Loan currently works as an assistant editor at Simon & Schuster’s Atria Books. She holds an MFA in fiction writing from Fairfield University, also her alma mater. She is the author of the forthcoming YA rom-com A PHO LOVE STORY (Simon Pulse, 2020). She is drawn to fiction with misfit characters; dark, psychological atmospheres; and anything that might blend reality and the supernatural.
