I’m a highly trained publishing professional with 19 years’ experience as an editor and project manager, including a decade as an in-house editor; full-time freelance since 2008. I have extensive experience of working on general trade non-fiction, especially in the areas of architecture, art and craft, fashion and cookery. I also copy-edit and proofread fiction. I am known for fixing things, sorting out text and making it work better.

I know when to look at the big picture and when to focus on the minute details. If you give me a project I will identify exactly what you need in editorial terms, carry out the task efficiently, confidently and to a high standard, yet return your work with all its original character intact. I also take pride in being nice to work with and offering my clients excellent, reliable service.

Cook Happy, Cook Healthy

"Most of the food you put in your body should have ingredients that make your skin glow, your hair shine, your body feel energised, your eyes bright and your kids and friends happy. Even the naughty treats can have good stuff in them too! If you love cooking and baking and are happy, like me, to whittle away the hours with spatula in hand then hopefully you'll enjoy my ideas and recipes." - Fe... read more
